Segun has over 25 years engineering and construction experience gained on a variety of engineering, commercial and claims management roles in diverse project environments such as commercial highrise, highways, water supply infrastructure, airports and defence. He has specific expertise in the planning and controlling of engineering and construction projects, and has worked on projects in Nigeria, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Segun specializes in providing technical, contractual and commercial advice to clients on preventing and resolving time and cost overruns in their construction projects and managing the associated risks. His expertise includes: developing and communicating project plans and objectives; management of project planning and control systems to meet the strategic and project specific needs of clients; independent program reviews & audits; program analyses for the purpose of supporting and defending extension of time claims; preparation and defence of extension of time claims; schedule risk assessments; delay analyses; and expert planning/programming reports for arbitration, mediation and court proceedings. Segun has published articles on project planning in professional journals has also authored an introductory textbook on project management for undergraduate students. In addition he has lectured and presented seminars on various aspects of scheduling, project planning and control, and generic project management.
